Salary -  Clerk data entry jobs typically pay from $12-$15 dollars an hour.  If you have a full time position you will most likely be able to get full benefits such as health, dental, and retirement options such as a 401K.  Many data entry jobs can be temporary however as some agencies, like the IRS, hire for a 9-12 month period.  The nice thing about this is that you will have a job for 9-12 months and if you do a good enough job they can usually move you to a different position within the company if the work runs out.
