If you are looking for the grand daddy of administrative assistant jobs, you have found it. Finding an executive administrative assistant job is very challenging and is for highly self motivated people who love to take the bull by the horns. Many people have heard of executive administrative assistant jobs because of people like P. Diddy and movies like “The Devil Wears Prada.” These depictions of executive administrative assistants are not too far off, except that most executives are not quite as eccentric.

What are the primary responsibilities? It all boils down to one simple answer, “everything and anything your executive wants you to do.” Some of these responsibilities include:

Being able to work with little or no supervision to accomplish tasks.

Heavy interaction with all levels of staff in a fast paced work environment.

Must be able to deal well under severe pressure and deadlines.

Convey professional behavior at all times and be able to keep items of business confidential.

The ability to handle excessive work loads and competing demands.

Efficient time management.

Heavy calendar management, communicating with other executives and their assistants as well as third party consultants.

Answer all calls and quickly re-direct them to the appropriate party.

Prepare and assist your supervisor with presentations.

Arrange travel schedules.

Maintain and order company supplies and manage inventory.

As you can see there are many responsibilities. The requirements for most executive administrative assistants is that they have at least an associates degree in business administration. Most employers also require 3-5 years of work experience related to executive administration.

How much do these jobs pay? The truth of the matter is that it really depends on the executive and company you end up working for. For most jobs in this field you will get paid $17-$30 dollars an hour including full benefits. If you make the big time however and work for a celebrity or huge executive, you can fully expect to make a six figure income every year, not to mention excessive bonuses.

Why on earth would some people want this type of job? Surprisingly this type of job is extemely competitive and most people are willing to do whatever it takes to land one. The main reason being is it is the best way to lean the inner workings of a large successfull company. Many people want this experience to eventually become an executive or director of a large company. Most companies hiring a CEO or executive want the candidate to have extensive training and experience. Becoming an administrative assistant to an executive is the best training there is for those set on running a large company some day.

Finding a dental receptionist job can be very rewarding and can really help boost you into a dental career. Dental office receptionist jobs are different than being a dental assistant. To become a dental assistant you much have specialized training and be certified to work along side a dentist as an assistant. The great thing about starting as a receptionist is that it is the easiest way to either become a dental assistant, or to eventually become a dentist.

What exactly does a dental receptionist job consist of? As a dental receptionist you will sit at the front desk of the office and be the first person that patients meet. Answering the phone, greeting patients, finding patient charts, scheduling patients for return visits, insurance billing, payment collection, and writing doctors notes are a few of the responsibilites. Being a dental receptionist gives you a lot more responsibility than a typical receptionist job. Because of this they are typically paid more.

Dental receptionists make between$12-$17 dollars an hour. A high school diploma is usually required and the ability to work quickly, work on computers, good people skills, and being able to deal with frustrated patients are also skills sought out by dentists.

At the beginning of the article we said that this is the type of job that can catapult you into the dental career you want. The reason we say this is that you are the doctors life blood. Without you the doctor is not busy and does not have a full schedule. There is no better job in the office to see the whole operation of being a dentist. With this type of job you can observe and really see if being a dentist or dental assistant is right for you. If you decide that becoming a dental assistant or dentist is the right thing for you, often a dentist will help pay for your schooling to become an assistant. Not only will the help you pay for school, but by working for a dentist you will have great credibility and a great referral if yo switch to another office in need of your newly obtained skills. As you can see it can’t hurt to know and have worked for a dentist if you are wanting to stay in the dentistry industry.

Overall becoming a dental receptionist can be very rewarding as you will see people’s teeth and demeanor’s change right in front of your eyes. Great benefits usually apply as most positions are full time. Join the ranks and become a dental receptionist today!

Part time jobs can be hard to come by these days, especially ones that pay decently well. Most people think of a part time job as working for a restaurant waiting tables, or working a night shift at a grocery store, but did you know there are many offices looking for part time day shifts? That’s right, part time receptionist jobs are available even in today’s recession. We will go over the types of jobs available and what is typically required.

Receptionist part time jobs are available at all kinds of different offices. The most popular offices in need of a part time position is real estate offices, medical offices, financial offices, and government institutions. Many times a part timer is brought on board when the work load fluctuates during the week or if your boss is out of town alot like a financial advisor or real estate firm. These businesses really rely on part time receptionists to help with the large work loads or the weird work schedules that they work.

As a part time evening receptionist or any time of the day that you work you will be paid an hourly rate. Pay rates for this type of job start at $10-$12 dollars an hour. Because it is part time work, health benefits are typically not offered. Bonuses can be offered if you have some commission structure that is part of your job. These types of positions are great for people that may already be working another job or for the college student that knows they will only be in the area for a couple of months.

There are some skills needed to be a part time receptionist. The main skills that you must possess are communication and people skills. Nobody likes talking to an angry ornery person so make sure you have good communication skills and are friendly to others. Typing skills are also important as you will be typing up letters, memos, and other things that will be mailed, e-mailed, or faxed to clients. Being able to take on many tasks at once is also a very important skill to posess as you will be given many responsibilities. Knowing how to prioritize certain responsibilities over the other is important to make sure the most pressing issue gets taken care of first.

As you can see, part time receptionsit jobs offer great pay and flexible schedules. This is the perfect job for someone wanting to make som extra money!

If you are looking for a job and want to get started in a medical career, nothing can prepare you better than by starting in a medical receptionist job. Medical receptionist jobs are great because they are not just limited to hospitals. These jobs can be found in health clinics, urgent care clinics, and specialty clinics which are all abundant throughout the nation. What exactly does a medical receptionist do?

A medical receptionist is actually a job that has alot of responsibilities. Too many people mistake this job as just an answer the phone job, it is in fact much more than that! A medical receptionist obviously answers phones for the office but also schedules patients and works with doctor schedules, collects insurance information and most often is involved with the insurance billing, sends requests for lab work on specific patients, keeps and files patient records, and updates schedules and calendars on the computer. In a medical receptionist job you are really the commander of the office. Without you, the office would not run smoothly as there would be schedule conflicts and unorganized information.

There are specific skills that doctors look for when hiring a medical receptionist. Grooming and appearance is very important as you represent the office as a whole with the way you look. Most receptionists wear semi-formal clothing to give a professional and mature look to the office. Being able to speak clearly and having good speech and grammer is also important as you will be communicating with patients in person and over teh phone. Having mathematical skills are also very important to help patients work out billing arrangements and to make sure that the full amount owed is paid by the customers. Computer knowledge is also very important. Knowing how to run and use Microsoft Office and Windows is very important as you will be using a computer to process most of the patient information and scheduling.

Part time medicl receptionist jobs and full time jobs are all salary based with pay scale. These jobs typically pay from $10-$12 dollars per hour. Depending on which offic you work at, health benefits are usually offered which are a definite plus. Most insurance plans are really good at medical offices and have low deductibles which means you will usually only have to pay a small c0-pay fee.

If you are looking for a job or a new career this is definitely a great place to start. A medical receptionist job is a very rewarding job that will get you into the medical world and will give you great experience.

Finding company secretary jobs can be fairly easy if you know what to expect. What exactly does a company secretary job include as far as responsibilities? Becoming a company secretary shares many of the same responsibilities that a receptionist has. These responsibilities include answering the phone, setting up appointments, scheduling appointments for your superior, re-directing calls to the appropriate person, sending mailings, sending e-mails, and anything else your boss asks you to do.

As a company secretary you may have different responsibilities than a receptionist in that there will be many company secretaries for each division. Depending on the division you work for you may be responsible for setting up and preparing for conference calls, meetings, and may work on presentations for you boss. A good way to think about what a secretary does is to know that you will be your boss’s right hand person.

Becoming a company secretary is a very rewarding job as you will see how much of a difference you will make. Your boss will rely on you heavily and will feel like they are missing an arm or leg when you are not there. Company Secretarial jobs are not jsut limited to women. Many men get hired as company secretaries to both male and female superiors. Men do just as well as women in this position and can really change the dynamic of certain office settings.

Company secretary jobs are a salary based type of pay scale. Most of the time these jobs pay $10-$12 dollars an hour and sometimes offer bonuses or overtime opportunities. The job is typically for full time hours which are 40 hours a week although there are some part time positions available that normally have you working 25-35 hours per week depending on your superior’s work load.

To get a job as a company secretary it is important that you possess some basic skills. Most employers like you to have a high school dimploma, basic computer knowledge, Microsoft Office experience, good typing and english grammer skills, a friendly nice phone voice, and an even temperment. You are the first person a client meets and greets before meeting with your boss so it is very important for you to dress nice and represent the company in a good fashion. Being well groomed and looking nice is important as you will often leave an initial impression on those that come into the company doors to solicit your companies business.
