Job Requirements: The main and biggest requirement is that you have a bachelors degree in construction management.  Most employers also require that you have 5-10 years of experience in the residential and commercial construction industry.  People skills are an absolute must as you will be the person on the front lines to represent the company you work for and ensure the clients stick with and are pleased with the deal that has been made with them on the construction project.  The ability to travel is also very important.  Often large construction companies have projects happening all over the country, and even in other countries at times.  It is your primary responsibility to oversee projects and it may become necessary for you to relocate for a time until the project is completed.
